Sydney is a sophomore at Harvard University majoring in Social Studies. She attended Rowland Hall in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she competed in policy debate.


She is a two-time TOC qualifier and was ranked as one of the top teams in the country during her senior year, earning 6 bids and reaching semifinals of the TOC. In addition to winning multiple speaker awards throughout her high school career, she has competed in elimination rounds at several national tournaments, including Greenhill, Meadows, Jack Howe, Notre Dame, Glenbrooks, Golden Desert, and Berkeley.


In her freshman year at Harvard, she was a quarterfinalist at the Georgetown tournament and qualified to the NDT.
